Wildlife Advisory

By July 31, 2016 Wildlife No Comments

Welcome visitors and guests of Fripp Island! Please remember that Fripp is a wildlife sanctuary and that all wildlife is protected at all times, including alligators. Alligators are on the move during all times of the year, especially in the summer. Please do not harass or feed the alligators at any time and please keep your distance from them. If you see an alligator that is in an area where they should not be, such as around your rental home or under your car, please contact Fripp Island Security immediately at 843-838-2334.

The Fripp Island Security is our private police force and they will be able to respond and remove the alligator if it presents a threat to humans. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times, including at the beach – for the safety of your dog and the other guests.
